Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the ECDB Global platform. By registering and using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. ABOUT US

E-Commerce Development Board LTD ("ECDB Global", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales. Registered address: 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ECDB Global platform at ecdb.global.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • Platform — the ECDB Global website and all associated services at ecdb.global
  • Student — a user who has enrolled in the ECDB course and purchased a subscription plan
  • Vendor/Seller — a user who sells products through the ECDB platform
  • Infrastructure Client — a business client using ECDB's banking and fulfilment services
  • Subscription — a recurring monthly payment for access to platform features
  • Course — the 12-lesson ECDB e-commerce training programme

3. ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to register on the ECDB Global platform
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose

4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

ECDB Global offers three subscription tiers for Vendors and Sellers, billed monthly or yearly:

  • Level 1 — Starter: £9.99 per month or £89.99 per year
  • Level 2 — Growth: £24.99 per month or £224.99 per year
  • Level 3 — Pro: £49.99 per month or £449.99 per year

Subscription prices are the same in every country. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Upgrades take effect immediately on a prorated basis. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

5. COURSE ENROLMENT

A one-off enrolment fee is required before accessing the ECDB course and platform. The fee varies by country:

  • Regional (low and lower-middle income countries): USD $9.99
  • Middle (upper-middle income countries): USD $27.99
  • Standard (high income countries): USD $47.00

The applicable rate is determined automatically based on your registered country. Once enrolled, you have lifetime access to the course content.

6. PRODUCT LISTINGS AND SALES

  • Students and Vendors may list products from the ECDB catalogue on approved marketplaces
  • All listings must comply with the policies of the marketplace on which they are listed
  • Products must not be listed below the ECDB floor price
  • ECDB Global retains a 20% commission on all student gross profits from sales
  • ECDB Global is not responsible for disputes between sellers and their buyers on external marketplaces

7. WITHDRAWALS AND PAYOUTS

  • Withdrawal requests are subject to a 3% transfer fee deducted from the withdrawal amount
  • Payouts are processed via Wise, Remitly, MoneyGram, or WorldRemit
  • Processing times are determined by ECDB Global administration
  • Minimum withdrawal amounts may apply
  • ECDB Global reserves the right to withhold withdrawals pending investigation of suspicious activity

8. INFRASTRUCTURE CLIENTS

  • Infrastructure Clients using SKV banking services are charged £15 per month per account
  • Beaumont Logistics 3PL services are charged at £2.50 per dispatched package
  • Storage and handling rates are agreed separately in writing
  • The banking module does not move real funds until UK compliance approval is obtained

9. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not:

  • Use the platform to sell counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods
  • Attempt to circumvent the ECDB floor price or commission structure
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Use the platform to engage in fraudulent activity
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy any part of the platform

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the ECDB Global platform including course materials, product data, and platform code is the intellectual property of E-Commerce Development Board LTD. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ECDB Global shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms and Conditions. You may cancel your subscription at any time. No refunds are issued for partial months of subscription.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
